JANE CLAIRE HERVEY
Jane Claire Hervey is a creative director, entrepreneur and recording artist, living and working in Austin, Texas. She is the founding director of bbatx (a 501c3 amplifying women and nonbinary creatives and leaders), and she actively designs communication strategies and experiences for arts and entertainment organizations, nonprofits and creative start-ups. Over the years, she has worked with a range of people and places—from small organizations and individual artists to projects with Bumble, The Line Hotel, Red Bull and Dr. Marten's.
As a musician, her sound pulls influences from Björk, Solange and Frank Ocean. Her lyrics are informed by living in the South, cellulite and being a bad woman. Since putting out her first four-track EP “Sour Grapefruit” in 2019, she has played South by Southwest (SXSW) and opened for the likes of OSHUN, Nomi Ruiz, Bunny Michael and more. Her artistic and professional work has been profiled in publications like Texas Monthly, ADWEEK and Forbes, as well as recognized in the City of Austin’s Women’s Hall of Fame.

MEGHNA MAHADEVAN
Disinformation Defense Strategist & Tech Equity Engineer. Meghna Mahadevan is a creative, activist, and social justice strategist, born & raised in Atlanta, GA. After spending three years working in Silicon Valley as an engineer, Meghna pivoted to organize against the many flaws of the tech industry and the impact they have on BIPOC folx. Meghna co-founded the Innovation Lab, Oakland's first BIPOC tech accelerator where founders raised $2.5M+, under the Kapor Center. She currently works with United We Dream, organizing against alt-right disinformation campaigns and advises for ICA Fund Good Jobs and the Disinformation Defense League. As part of her creative practice, Meghna dj's as @yoniyachtclub, curates large-scale murals, events, and spaces, and co-hosts Dystopia Now on Lower Grand Radio. Her work has been featured in the LA Times, Politico, Boston Globe, iHeart Radio's "There are No Girls on The Internet' podcast, The New School, and more.

As the Co-founder and CEO of Women Sound Off, Evangeline is building safe spaces for women and creatives across sectors within and outside of music. She heads marketing at WSO, works partnerships at indie label EMPIRE and runs her own management & marketing agency, All Angles. Her ability to disrupt the music and creative space as a social entrepreneur continues to shift today's limited ecosystem for musicians and women entertainment—with inclusivity at the helm of her work.
