Tina Davis

VP of A&R @ EMPIRE | @tina.davis

Tina works as Vice President of A&R at EMPIRE - Distribution | Recordings | Publishing and acts as President of Phase Too Inc., a full-service management company that is well known for launching the career of Grammy Award-winning, platinum-selling singer/songwriter/producer Chris Brown. Davis and Phase Too are currently working to usher in the next generation of quality talent.

Davis got her start during college with on-air stint with the syndicated show “Radioscope” and eventual promotion to operations manager for the L.A.-based program. She then continued onto the publishing end of the business as a creative assistant at Chrysalis Music Publishing. After a year at Chrysalis, Davis was recruited to become an A&R administrator at the West Coast office of revered hip-hop label Def Jam where she rose to the ranks of senior VP of A&R.

Davis is currently the VP of A&R at EMPIRE Distribution and Records and the Creator and Executive Producer of BET music competition Show The Next Big Thing.

Evangeline Elder

As an editor, artist manager, and music lover, Evangeline Elder (a.k.a Vang) has taken on both sides of the music industry over the past six years. As the creator of All Angles (since 2016), a small indie multidisciplinary music agency, Evangeline decided to take a grassroots approach to her career and passions in the music industry early on. Focused on start-up momentum and breaking barriers for unsigned artists, she’s been able to strategize and help develop new artists on a national scale, whether she’s writing about them, organizing an event, or planning a roll-out. When it comes to her work ethic and business style, Evangeline believes in undeniable hard work, transparency at all times, and intuition. When it comes to life, she believes in positivity, living out-loud, and self-discovery as much as possible.

Vang currently works as a Sales and Marketing Manager at EMPIRE - Distribution | Recordings | Publishing and acts as Co-Founder & CEO of Women Sound Off (formerly known as Women in Music Festival).

She has been accountable for leading the "big idea" from the development stages to execution at Instagram.
