TAYLOR CRUMPTON (Culture Critic)

Taylor Crumpton is a music, pop culture and politics writer transplanted in Oakland, originally from Dallas. In just four years, Taylor has used her collective experiences to create the sharp and poignant work that she has become well-known to produce. She’s been welcomed to speak on the Netflix-produced podcast “You Can’t Make This Up”, served as the guest editor for Them’s 2020 Black History Month editorial package, and has even been recognized amongst her peers by way of her Jack Jones’ cultural critics index placement.

Since she’s began writing, Taylor’s bylines has appeared on a variety of publications, including Pitchfork, Nylon, Playboy, Marie Claire and others.

NADIRAH SIMMONS (Founder, The Gumbo)

Nadirah Simmons is the founder of The Gumbo, a social club and editorial hub for and by Black women who love Hip-Hop. She is also the social media manager at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on CBS, where she is responsible for managing Instagram and producing digital bits with guests like Robert De Niro, Method Man, LL Cool J, Tracee Ellis Ross, and more. Additionally, she is a writer for ‘Kitty’s World,’ a virtual music video countdown show created by Kitty Ca$h.

As the Co-founder and CEO of Women Sound Off, Vang is building safe spaces for women and creatives across sectors within and outside of music. Her ability to disrupt the music and creative space as a social entrepreneur continues to shift today's limited ecosystem for musicians and women entertainment—with inclusivity at the helm of her work.
